Writer's Coffee and Chat
While in-person events are ON HIATUS, email rehobothbeachwritersguild2@gmail.com if you would like to join our weekly conference call.

Writing can be lonely. Sometimes we need to be with other writers to talk—or to listen to ideas related to writing––in a casual, free-style discussion. For example:
Although the chat is informal, be mindful about sharing the time with one another so everyone can have a chance to contribute to the discussion. The goal, after all, is to stay in touch with the heart of why we choose to write.
- Ask advice on writing issues, e.g., getting unblocked
- Compare writing processes
- Discuss advice received or read in a journal or on the internet
- Express concern about a genre and perhaps get input
- Recommend online writing sites and blogs
- Share writing opportunities, e.g., conferences and calls for submissions
- It is not a FreeWrtie!
- It is not a rant session
- It is not a critique group (don’t bring your novel or multiple copies of a chapter)
Although the chat is informal, be mindful about sharing the time with one another so everyone can have a chance to contribute to the discussion. The goal, after all, is to stay in touch with the heart of why we choose to write.
