Wine and Whine
Event
Apr 5 (Sun)
Senators Clubhouse, Lewes
5:00 p.m.—Mingle, eat and drink
5:30-6:20 p.m.—Discussion
Topic: Organizing the Big Project
How is it possible to organize a novel, a memoir, even a long essay? How do you keep track of the characters, plots, different drafts, things you delete from revision three but decide you want back in draft five? In other words, what are some of the tricks, techniques and skills writers use to make working on a long project more feasible and less frustrating? Novelists Lisa Graff and Bill Kennedy will share with us their methods for writing and organizing book-length projects and RBWG website manager and writer, Cindy Hall will share her technological expertise in the basics of maintaining drafts in multiple files/folders, etc. Each of these writers will speak briefly, leaving plenty of time for discussions, questions, and suggestions. And of course, we’ll start off with our favorites: mingling, eating, and drinking.
Please RSVP to attend via SignUpGenius. In addition to listing your guests in the comment section, please indicate if you can bring an appetizer, dessert, red or white wine (bring your own drink if you want something besides wine).
